Famous as the place where linoleom was invented and manufactured for many years, Kirkcaldy is also the birthplace of the economist, Adam Smith, author of the volume, The Wealth of Nations. Kirkcaldy is situated on the river Forth coast of Fife and is one of the major towns in the 'Kingdom'. One of the annual events is the famous 'Links Market', a large fair, in fact the largest annual fair in Europe. The main throughfair is closed for 10 days in April as the fair sets up home much to the delight of the local children. Kirkcaldy also has 3 beautiful parks and is home to the local football team, Raith Rovers.
To give our clients a feel for the local environment we will research the local area and provide information and pictures, when possible, of the local events. Pictures will be taken of the locations associated with significant people and events in the area. Another, often neglected area, is that of the local shops and schools and we will also try to include these where possible.
If it is possible to visit an area at the time of a special event we will endeavour to do so in order to provide relevant and up to date pictures. However this will not include major sporting events or occasions held during inclement waether.
